ARCHIVED PROJECTS: "AIDS in South-Eastern Asia" by Angel Navarrete: AIDS Temple, Thailand

the Wat Phra Baat Nam Phu temple in Lopburi (Thailand) is the last hospice to thousands of HIV patients.

The temple gives people with AIDS a last place of dignity and respect for the remaining few months, weeks or days of their lives. Besides there is the “Life Museum”, a gruesome exhibition of dead aids victims teaches of how not to become another sufferer of the disease.
